Mr Huang Hong Hee, Managing Director
Mr Huang serves as a Managing Director and is a civil engineering industry veteran with almost four decades of rich experience. He is responsible for the overall strategic direction of the group. He started his career with the company since its inception in 1975 and has risen through the ranks and has extensive knowledge and experience in the business. He is a seasoned executive with a broad set of unique hands-on capabilities and experiences ranging from strategic planning and sales & operations management to research & development. Mr Huang brings tremendous insight to Highway stemming from an extensive Singapore and regional business background. His ability to quickly identify issues and opportunities, adjust operations and improve performance for business units across multiple diverse local markets are invaluable assets to the Highway group. Mr Huang leads organizations with a real passion for developing highly productive teams and a strong belief that human resources are the foremost powerful force of any successful company. Throughout its history, Highway has gained a reputation as a company capable of solving the most demanding product development which is essential for the local civil engineering projects. In summary, Mr Huang is a well-regarded senior professional and received numerous appreciations from the relevant policy makers and local construction authorities.
In addition to the professional activities, Mr Huang actively contributes in various community organizations and has received numerous acclamations for his remarkable assistances rendered in public service over the years.
Mr Tan Wan Seng, General Manager
Mr Tan is the General Manager and oversees the day-to-day overall functioning of the company, and is responsible for the strategic management and operational matters of the company. Having been with the company since 1997, Mr Tan was involved in several of company’s milestones such as F1 track project, Bus Zone Traffic Scheme, Recycling Asphalt Plant Development. He continues to play a vital role in setting and achieving company goals, objectives and success.
